Wind veering to west 35 overnight then diminishing to west 25 near noon Wednesday. Wind diminishing to west 15 Wednesday evening.

Rain beginning this morning and ending overnight. Fog patches forming this morning and dissipating this evening.

Issued 3:00 AM NDT 16 October 2018 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located over the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 990 mb located over Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 963 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:38 AM NDT 16 October 2018 A low pressure system over Quebec will rapidly deepen as it moves to
lie over the belle bank overnight and east of the marine district by
Wednesday morning. Gale to storm force south to southeasterlies will
develop ahead of this system then shift to gale to storm force west
to southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Southeastern Grand Banks where gale a warning is in

and Bonne Bay can expect high waves, pounding surf conditions and
elevated water levels beginning this afternoon and continuing until
early Wednesday morning.
