Issued 10:00 AM NST 25 November 2024 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 985 mb located over Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday low 978 mb located east of the Marine
District.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough from 985 mb low located east of
the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday trough from 978 mb low located over the
northern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:51 AM NST 25 November 2024 An intense low pressure system over Newfoundland will track eastwards
to lie east of the marine district by this evening. A trough
extending to the east of the low will sweep back across eastern
regions of the marine district overnight and Tuesday. Strong to gale
force east to northeasterlies north of the low's track will become
strong to gale force north to northwesterlies as the trough crosses
the region on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, and the Grand Banks.
