At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the northern Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

Issued 2:49 AM NST 12 February 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Nova Scotia will track northwardtoday and cross Newfoundland to lie over the Northeast Coast by
tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterly to southeasterly winds
will develop ahead of the low today, then shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies to southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Gulf and Northeast Coast.
