At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough from 988 mb low located from the
low to the Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday trough from 994 mb low located on a line
northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NDT 22 March 2018 A low pressure system just south of Nova Scotia and an associated
trough stretching eastward across the Grand Banks will move northward
tonight to lie from Central Newfoundland to the Funk Island Bank by
Friday afternoon. Strong to gale force easterlies to northeasterlies
will spread over all waters tonight and Friday ahead of these
features. Strong to gale force southwesterlies can be expected to the
south of the trough.
