southern Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:50 AM NDT 20 May 2026 A deepening low pressure system over Quebec will move throughLabrador tonight before crossing Belle Isle Bank on Thursday. Strong
to gale force southerlies ahead of the low will shift to gale to
storm force northwesterlies as it passes.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle
Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and Funk Island Bank.
