Issued 3:30 PM NST 12 December 2017 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located northeast of Belle Isle Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing trough located northeast of
the Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today intensifying low 1000 mb located over
New England.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday low 970 mb located near the Gaspe
Peninsula.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located east of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:24 PM NST 12 December 2017 Strong to gale force westerlies will diminish over northern waters
tonight as the trough of low pressure to the northeast of Belle Isle
Bank continues to move east and a ridge builds in to the region.

On Wednesday, gale force southeasterlies will spread over most waters
as a low pressure system approaches from the southwest.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the northern and Southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing a spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
