Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:49 AM NDT 20 March 2023 An intense low pressure system over the South Labrador Coast willslowly track eastwards across Belle Isle Bank today and tonight
before moving to lie east of the marine district late Tuesday.
Gale to storm force southwest to westerly winds over all waters will
diminish to strong northwesterlies late Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Northeast Coast, Funk
Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.
