Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:57 PM NDT 19 April 2025 A low pressure system will approach the marine district on Sunday tolie over the west coast of Newfoundland by Sunday afternoon. Strong
to gale force west to southwesterlies will develop south of the low
tonight and Sunday. Strong to gale force northeast to northwesterly
winds are expected to develop to the north and west of the low late
in the day on Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Southwest Coast, South Coast, and
the Grand Banks.
