At 10:00 a.m. ADT Monday low 988 mb located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday low 988 mb located over southern Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:38 AM ADT 16 March 2026 A low pressure system near the Great Lakes will move to lie overSouthern Quebec tonight and into Labrador on Tuesday. Strong to gale
force southeasterlies will develop over western waters today and over
eastern waters tonight. Winds will veer and increase to gale force
southerlies or southwesterlies early Tuesday over most waters.
Late on Tuesday, winds will diminish somewhat to strong to gale force
southwesterlies over western waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
regions except Chaleur-Miscou - western half.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti.
