By 3:30 p.m. ADT today intensifying low 981 mb located near
Chaleur Bay.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT today cold front from low located on a line
north-south over western Lurcher.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today cold front from low located south of
Sable Island.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT today weakening low 974 mb located near the
Gaspe Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday weakening low 986 mb located near Anticosti
Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:48 AM ADT 22 April 2021 An intensifying low pressure system over Western New Brunswick willmove to lie near the Bay of Chaleur this afternoon and north of the
Gaspé Peninsula tonight. On Friday the low will gradually weaken as
it drifts towards Anticosti. A cold front associated with this low
will track across the marine district today. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies ahead of the front will become strong to gale force
southwesterlies in its wake and will gradually diminish on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
