Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM AST 20 January 2018 A low pressure system over the Northern Gulf of St Lawrence this
afternoon will move to lie north of Newfoundland overnight tonight.
Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies ahead of the
Low will shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
All waters except Fundy, Grand Manan, Northumberland Strait and
Chaleur-Miscou. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for
Banquereau-northern half, Cabot Strait,
Northumberland Strait-eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
