Periods of snow changing to rain this morning then to flurries Thursday afternoon. Fog patches forming this evening and dissipating near midnight. Visibility as low as 1 mile in precipitation and 1 mile or less in fog patches.
Strong wind warning program has ended for the season.

Issued 02:59 AM EST 11 December 2024 A major low pressure system with explosive development will cross the St. Lawrence River near Lake Saint-Pierre Wednesday evening to lie over northern Quebec late in the day Thursday.As the system approaches, storm force south to southeasterly winds will develop, then turn southwesterly during the day. Westerly gale force winds will continue on Friday and may cause freezing spray in falling temperatures later on.
In addition, wave heights could reach 3 or 4 metres depending on the area.
