By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located over the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:43 AM AST 17 November 2018 As a low pressure system continues to move towards Newfoundland and
away from the district today, gale force westerlies will slowly
diminish from west to east. Gale to storm force winds in the south
and eastern marine district will diminish by this evening.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau and Laurentian Fan.
Gale warnings are in effect for Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank,
West Scotian Slope, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore,
Fourchu, Cabot Strait, and Gulf-Magdalen-eastern half.
