Issued 10:00 AM AST 19 February 2020 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. AST today intensifying trough located from the Gulf
of St. Lawrence to East Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday building ridge located west of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:58 AM AST 19 February 2020 A trough of low pressure will track eastward across the marine
district today to lie east of Newfoundland this evening. Gale to
storm force southerly winds ahead of the trough will shift to strong
to gale force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait - southern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern
shore, lahave banks, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Cabot
Strait-northern half, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou-eastern half and
Anticosti.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Lurcher, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore, Sable,
Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half
and Anticosti.
