Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:49 AM AST 8 November 2025 A low pressure system over Southern Quebec will track eastwardpushing a trough across the marine district today and tonight. Strong
to gale force south to southwest winds ahead of the trough will shift
to strong northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore, Sable - western half, Fourchu, East Scotian Slope and
Laurentian Fan.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
