Issued 10:00 AM AST 22 January 2021 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 996 mb located south of West Scotian
Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 988 mb located east of Laurentian Fan.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 1003 mb located near Browns Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday low 995 mb located near East Scotian
Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM AST 22 January 2021 A low pressure system south of the marine district will intensify as
it passes just southeast of Laurentian Fan later today, bringing a
period of northeasterly gales to southeasternmost waters.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - eastern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
