Issued 7:39 PM AST 12 February 2026 An area of low pressure over Newfoundland will continue to pull awayfrom the district tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will
persist in the wake of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait - eastern half,
Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti.
Marine interest are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait - eastern half,
