By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 970 mb located southeast of the
Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Monday ridge located over the Great Lakes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:17 PM AST 8 February 2026 A low pressure system south of Laurentian Fan will continue to tracksouth of the marine district and will lie southeast of the Grand
Banks by this evening. Strong to gale force northeasterlies over
southern waters will gradually diminish as the system progresses.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, eastern shore, Fourchu, Gulf
- Magdalen, and Anticosti.
