Warnings

Warnings (In effect)

High water level warning in effect

Lurcher

Issued 7:36 PM ADT 08 April 2020 The combination of an intensifying low pressure system tracking through the region Thursday night and a series of abnormally high tides are expected to combine to give higher than normal water levels to many coastal locations along the Bay of Fundy during high tide later Thursday evening.

Coastal flooding is likely, especially during high tide. Marine interests close to the shoreline should stay alert for worsening conditions, especially during high tide.

High water level warnings are issued when water levels pose a threat to coastal regions.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. For more information monitor Canadian Coast Guard radio or Weatheradio stations.

remaining areas by Friday morning. Winds could potentially reach
storm force for some eastern and northern waters.

In addition, due to a series of abnormally high astronomical tides,
this system will bring higher than normal water levels and likelihood
of coastal flooding to areas along the Bay of Fundy during high tide
late Thursday evening. Marine interests are advised that a high water
level warning is in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan and Lurcher.

Marine interests are also advised that gale warnings are in effect
