Issued 3:00 AM AST 22 January 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. AST today low 1008 mb located southwest of Georges
Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 994 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today ridge located from the Great Lakes to Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday ridge located over the southern Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:37 AM AST 22 January 2025 An intensifying low pressure system southwest of Georges Bank will
track northeastward and pass just south of the marine district today.
Strong to gale force northerlies will develop west of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for all waters except Fundy and
Laurentian Fan - southeastern half.
