Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:44 AM AST 6 February 2026 A low pressure system east of Cape Hatteras will intensify as ittracks northeastward and pass south of the marine district tonight.
Strong to gale force northeasterly winds will develop over southern
waters this evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope - southeastern half, Banquereau - southeastern
half, and Laurentian Fan.
Marine interests are also advised that all freezing spray warnings
have been ended.
