southeastern Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 1000 mb located near the St. Lawrence
River.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday departing low 1002 mb located over the
Avalon Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:40 AM ADT 13 April 2026 A low pressure system will cross the northern marine district tonight
and Tuesday morning. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will
develop today over the entire district, with winds diminishing to
moderate to strong west to northwest winds in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
