Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:00 AM ADT 9 April 2020 An intense low pressure system will approach the marine district from
the west today to lie near the Gulf of Maine this evening. The low
will then track northeastward reaching Gulf - Magdalen Friday
evening. Gale force southeasterly winds ahead of the disturbance will
begin over western marine areas this evening and will reach remaining

likelihood of coastal flooding to areas along the Bay of Fundy during
high tide late Thursday evening. Also from Miramichi northward to
the Acadian Coast and the Bay of Chaleur early Friday morning, and
near noon on Friday along the coasts of iles de la Madeleine.
Marine interests are advised that a high water level warning is in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Gulf-Magdalen and
Chaleur-Miscou. There may also be some minor flooding along parts of
the Northumberland Strait coast of Prince Edward Island near noon on
Friday.

Marine interests are also advised that storm warnings are in effect
for Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti -
southeastern half. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
