Issued 10:00 AM AST 6 January 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today quasi-stationary low 960 mb located over
the southeastern Avalon Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:06 AM AST 6 January 2025 A weakening low pressure system over Southeastern Newfoundland will
remain nearly stationary today and tonight. Gale to storm force
northwest winds over the majority of the district will slowly subside
into this evening.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau - southern half and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Fundy and Grand Manan.

Additionally, freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand
Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern
shore - western half, and Sable - western half.
