Issued 3:30 PM ADT 23 October 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located east of Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 1012 mb located near the Great Lakes.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday deepening low 1002 mb located near
Lurcher.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM ADT 23 October 2018 A low pressure system will approach the district from the west today
reaching Cape Cod by this evening. The disturbance will then start to
intensify before tracking northeastward this evening. There remains
some uncertainty over the exact track and intensity of this system.
Current model guidance suggests it will track over Nova Scotia
Wednesday evening. Strong to gale force southeast to northeast winds
will develop ahead of this system with strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
All waters except southwestern shore, LaHave Bank and East Scotian
Slope.
