over Quebec.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday low 998 mb located southwest of the
Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday intensifying low 988 mb located south
of Georges Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM AST 5 December 2023 A cold northwest flow will persist over northern areas until
Wednesday afternoon.

A low pressure system will track south of the slope waters Wednesday
evening and intensify over the Grand Banks by Thursday morning.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies are possible for the southern
most slope waters.

Marine interest are advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti.
