Issued 3:30 PM ADT 22 March 2019 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 981 mb located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 978 mb located over southern Maine.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 981 mb located over southern New
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 984 mb located over the eastern Gulf
of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:18 PM ADT 22 March 2019 A low pressure system over the Gulf of Maine will move northeastward
to lie over Southern Maine this evening. The low will then move
across Southern New Brunswick Saturday morning to eventually lie over
the Eastern Gulf of St. Lawrence Saturday evening. East to
Southeast gales developing ahead of the low are expected to reach
storm force this evening over the northern half of Cabot Strait.
Winds will shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies over most
waters overnight as the low moves over Southern New Brunswick before
eventually shifting to a more northwesterly direction Saturday
evening behind the low.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters. In addition, higher than normal water levels can be
expected during high tide along the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia and
parts of the Bay of Fundy coast tonight and Saturday.
