Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:49 AM AST 16 January 2019 A ridge of high pressure over the region this morning will give way
to a trough of low pressure approaching from the west this afternoon.
Generally light to moderate winds under the ridge will strengthen to
strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the trough. Winds will veer
to strong to gale force westerlies in the wake of the trough on
