Wind increasing to southwest 15 near noon Sunday and to west 20 to 25 Sunday afternoon with gusts to 30 in the Approaches Sunday evening.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:51 AM AST 25 November 2017 A low pressure system will approach from south of Georges Bank
tonight and intensify as it tracks northeastward across Sable Island
Sunday morning and into Newfoundland Sunday evening. Strong south to
southeast winds will develop ahead of the low and will reach gale
force over eastern waters overnight into Sunday morning. Strong to
gale force westerlies will develop in the wake of the low on Sunday.
Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for Georges
Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian
Fan, and Anticosti - western half.

Sunday..Winds westerly 15 knots increasing northwest 25 knots near
noon and to northwest 30 knots in the afternoon.
Monday..Winds northwest 25 knots diminishing to northwest 20 near

variable 10 knots near noon backing southwesterly 20 knots in the
