Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:48 AM AST 16 November 2018 An approaching low pressure system will track along Nova Scotia today
from the southwest to the northeast. As this low pressure system
tracks through the marine district gale to storm force easterlies
will develop ahead and south of the low, while strong to gale force
northeasterlies will develop north of it. Winds will then switch to
strong to gale force westerlies behind this system except over
southern and eastern waters where gale to storm force westerlies are

Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank,
West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable , East Scotian Slope and
Banquereau. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
