At 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday approaching trough located from Ontario
to New England.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:46 AM AST 29 November 2022 An approaching trough of low pressure will move to lie from Ontario
to New England Wednesday afternoon. Over western waters, strong to
gale force southerlies will develop ahead of this trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, and West Scotian Slope. Additionally, a freezing
spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery, lfa34.
Thursday...Winds south 40 to 50 knots becoming west 30 early in the
morning. Seas 3 to 5 metres.
Friday...Winds northwest 20 to 25 knots becoming light near noon and
then increasing to southwest 15 late in the day. Seas 2 to 3 metres
decreasing to 1 in the morning.
Saturday...Winds southwest 15 knots increasing to south 25 in the
afternoon. Seas 1 metre increasing to 2 to 3 late in the day.
