Issued 3:00 AM ADT 8 April 2020 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 998 mb located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight intensifying low 990 mb located south of
East Scotian Slope.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday intensifying low 978 mb located west of
the Maritimes.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located over the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT today departing ridge located over the eastern
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM ADT 8 April 2020 An intense low pressure system will approach the marine district from
the west late Thursday and into Friday. Gale force winds will begin
over the western marine areas Thursday evening then spread over most
areas by Friday morning. Winds could potentially reach storms for
some eastern and northern waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings have been issued for
Lurcher, Browns Bank and Georges Bank.
