Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:19 PM AST 12 December 2025 An intense low pressure system east of the Labrador Sea will remainnearly stationary tonight, then will move slowly eastward on
Saturday. Gale to storm force west to northwest winds will diminish
on Saturday as the low moves eastward.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Cabot Strait and all of the
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
