Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday quasi-stationary low 1000 mb located over
Cabot Strait.

Issued 9:55 AM ADT 14 May 2026 A low pressure system southwest of the marine district will tracknortheastward across southern waters today and Friday to lie near
Cabot Strait Friday evening. Strong to gale force easterly winds
north of the low shift to strong to gale force southerlies to its
south.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.
