Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:43 AM ADT 16 October 2018 An intensifying low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from
Quebec and will track over the Northern Gulf of St. Lawrence today
and toward the Southern Labrador Sea by this evening. Gale to storm
force southerly winds ahead of this system will shift to gale to
storm force westerlies in its wake.
On Wednesday a trough will move over the marine district from the
west. This will give strong to gale force westerlies to southern

eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and
