Isle Bank.
At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:55 PM NDT 21 April 2026 A developing low pressure system approaching from the south isforecast to pass just east of the Avalon Peninsula on Wednesday.
An associated trough extending northeastward from the low will pivot
west to northwestwards later Wednesday. Strong to gale force
northerlies will develop the west of the low and trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle
Bank, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
