District.
At 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching low 999 mb located over Maine.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:51 AM NST 24 February 2021 A deepening low pressure system over Funk Island Bank will tracknortheastwards today to lie northeast of the marine district by
tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies can be expected to the
north of the low, with to strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies in its wake.
A second low will approach the marine district from the southwest on
Thursday. Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies will develop
over southern waters late in the day on Thursday ahead of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle
Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.
