At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Funk Island Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located east of Funk
Island Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:50 AM NDT 22 April 2021 An approaching low pressure system will stall over the GaspéPeninsula tonight before gradually drifting east along the Quebec
Lower North Shore on Friday. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds
will sweep across all waters later today and tonight ahead of an
intense trough associated with this low. Winds will shift to strong
to gale force south to southwesterly behind the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
