Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:56 AM NDT 23 March 2025 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will continue tomove northward today and tonight. Strong to gale force west to
southwesterlies in the wake of the low will diminish tonight as the
low tracks northward away from the marine district.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and
Northern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle
Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
