Issued 3:00 AM NST 25 January 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 958 mb located east of
Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday low 943 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Cape Breton Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:54 AM NST 25 January 2026 An intense low pressure system will meander east of the marine
district through the forecast period. Gale to storm force westerlies
to northwesterlies behind the low will diminish to strong to gale
force this afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Strait of Belle Isle and Northeast Gulf.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
