Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:57 AM NST 19 February 2026 An intense low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will continuetracking eastward before becoming nearly stationary east of the
district overnight tonight. Strong to gale force northerlies to
westerlies will persist over eastern waters for the remainder of the
forecast period.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western half, Gulf waters,
Southwest Coast, South Coast, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
