Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:57 AM NDT 22 March 2019 A trough over Labrador will move eastwards into the Labrador Sea
today. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds ahead of the trough
will persist over northwestern waters today.
Meanwhile, a low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the
southwest today. Strong to gale force southeast to northeasterly
winds are forecast to develop over all waters ahead of the low
tonight. Over southeastern waters, strong to gale force southerlies
will persist on Saturday as the low begins to track northeastwards
into the Labrador Sea.
