over Labrador.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing trough located east of
Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 989 mb located over New England.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday low 982 mb located over the Maritimes.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line east-west over
the Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:57 AM NDT 22 March 2019 A trough over Labrador will move eastwards into the Labrador Sea
today. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds ahead of the trough
will persist over northwestern waters today.

Meanwhile, a low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the
southwest today. Strong to gale force southeast to northeasterly
winds are forecast to develop over all waters ahead of the low
tonight. Over southeastern waters, strong to gale force southerlies
will persist on Saturday as the low begins to track northeastwards
into the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
