Issued 3:00 AM NDT 9 September 2026 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line east-west over
the South Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing trough located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today approaching trough located over Quebec.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
New Brunswick.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the East Coast of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:53 AM NDT 9 September 2026 A trough of low pressure will approach the district from the west on
Thursday. Strong to gale force southerlies will develop over western
waters on Thursday ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Gulf waters and Southwest Coast.
