Issued 8:00 PM NDT 20 May 2018 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 988 mb located over the
Strait of Belle Isle.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday departing low 976 mb located northeast of
Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:50 PM NDT 20 May 2018 An intensifying low pressure system over the Strait of Belle Isle
will move across Belle Isle Bank by this evening. The low will then
move northeastward away from the district overnight and Monday.
Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies ahead of the low will
shift to strong to gale force west to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk
Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
