Issued 3:00 AM NDT 18 July 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 997 mb located over southern
Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Sunday low 987 mb located over the Gaspe Peninsula.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 996 mb located over
northern Labrador Coast.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over Funk Island Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:54 AM NDT 18 July 2026 A low pressure system is expected to develop over Southern Quebec
today and will deepen as it tracks northeastwards tonight. Strong to
gale force south to southeasterlies are expected to develop over the
district ahead of the low on Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf - Port au Port and Southwest Coast.
