east-west over New Brunswick.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday deepening low 1000 mb located over Funk
Island Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:54 AM NDT 11 June 2026 A trough of low pressure over New Brunswick will intensify into a lowas it crosses Newfoundland later today. The low will then move out
over Eastern Funk Island Bank tonight where it will stall and
continue to deepen on Friday. Gale force northeasterlies to
northwesterlies will develop Friday afternoon around the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
