Issued 8:00 PM NDT 26 April 2018 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 996 mb located over the Gaspe
Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday low 988 mb located north of Labrador Sea.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:38 PM NDT 26 April 2018 A low pressure system over the Gaspé Peninsula will move
northeastward across Labrador tonight to lie over the Northern
Labrador Sea by late Friday. Strong to gale force south to
southeasterlies over western waters will spread elsewhere overnight
or early Friday as the low passes to the west. Winds will gradually
diminish by Friday evening as the low moves well north of the marine
district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island
Bank.
