Southwest Coast of Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday low 960 mb located over northwestern
Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located from the low to Belle
Isle Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing trough from low located over
Labrador Sea.

By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching low 999 mb located over the
Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM NST 21 November 2018 A deepening low over the Southwest Coast of will track northeastwards
today and into Labrador Sea tonight. Strong to gale force south to
northeast winds ahead of the low will shift to gale force west to
southwesterlies in its wake. Winds will diminish tonight as the low

Meanwhile, a second deepening low pressure system will approach the
Gulf of St. Lawrence overnight and track across Newfoundland on
Thursday. Gale force north to northeasterlies will develop on
Thursday west of the low. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead
of the low will shift to gale force southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
