At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:47 PM NDT 14 October 2024 An intensifying low pressure system over New Brunswick is expected totrack northward tonight and lie over the Northern Gulf of St.
Lawrence Tuesday. Strong to gale force east to southeasterlies will
spread over all waters ahead of the low tonight and Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - western half, Gulf waters, and Northeast
Coast.
