By 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 986 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
central Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Maritimes.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing low 989 mb located southeast
of Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:41 AM NDT 13 May 2026 An intensifying low pressure system over the Northeast Coast willtrack northeastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank later today and then
eastward to lie south of East Labrador Sea Thursday morning.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies east of the low become strong to
gale force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Southeastern Grand Banks.
